Molex Pumps are a positive displacement, helical rotor design of pump that is specifically intended for handling sludge’s. They will handle liquids with solids contents of up to 18%. The pump consists of two main components, the rotor and stator. Drive is transferred to the pump rotor via a heavy-duty bearing head, coupling shaft and universal joints. The joints are protected from sludge’s and fluids by polyurethane sleeves. The suction port is 130mm (5") nominal bore; the discharge port is 100mm (4") nominal bore and is at the end of the pump. There is an access plate adjacent to the inlet port that can be removed for inspection or to remove blockages from the suction chamber.
